It seems like the wireless road is the road of choice for the computing industry. Wireless devices are getting smaller. Laptops are getting thinner and more lightweight. Cell phones have transformed from Velveeta box-sized appendages to the super-cool smartphones that are really just hand-held computers.
Today’s smartphone users have the option to search the Internet, check email, take video, design graphics, and create some really unique cyber art in the palms of their hands. There are many different applications, or apps, that smartphone aficionados can download and use to make their cyber creations stand out.
TiltShift Video is an app that enables users to enhance video files with a Tilt-Shift effect. Its maker states that the app has the ability to pull still photos from moving video and give videos different effects like miniaturization. TiltShift can also manipulate a video’s blurriness, smoothness, and contrast while allowing users to add soundtracks or titles to files.
FX Photo Studio boasts over 165 photo enhancers that enable users to apply various effects to images. The program will mix or adjust images from the smartphone. MonoPhix 3 is a newer version of iPhone’s black-and-white photo app. It can morph pictures into monochromatic images or transform them into antiqued, vintage photos. This latest version of MonoPhix brings more than 30 new features for users to apply to their shots.
The Videoscope app has multiple effects, including kaleidoscope and 3D features. It also offers video enhancements that can be used in photos taken from the camera or others from outside libraries. Fast Photo permits users to share photos, which may include personalized descriptions for every photo. Users can share their work via email or social networking sites. This app also allows users to store photos in one of four libraries that can be organized, labeled, and viewed according to the user’s preferences.
