My dear members of Team 3DNOW!!!:

I am a member of Team ATComp.NET.
I am to greet you on behalf of our team
members.
We are glad to have you on top of us
and we congratulate your accomplishment.
Our webmaster, Mr. Blue runs a BBS in Japan,
ATComp.net which originally started as an
AMD users' site. We have broadened our user
body to all PC/AT compatibles, and now we
organized a team for DCypher.net's CS-Cypher
Challenge.
We are honored to have you as a leading team,
however, we do not intend to let you go
straightly as you are, he, he...
Let's lead a great cyber race on this challenge!
Sincerely yours,
Member_ATComp.NET

So I have no complaints Especially since they are so polite!
But lets bring the competition on!!!!!

One of our team members made a graph
indicating the progress of this cyber race.
Hope you enjoy it! http://www.iris.dti.ne.jp/~masida/rank/1121g2.htm

There have been many people trying to convert members of our teams on the various distributed computing projects. But we won't yield! Let's fight them!

I don't like the look of that graph.... Team ATCom.NET is going up way to fast. We gotta go out and assimilate some more machines to keep up the pace

Hey!
If you deliver the shadow version of the client I can deliver some more computer power...
Besides I read something on the atcomp.net:

"Hello, our dear Team 3DNow!!!,

Nice to meet you. We are the group of Japanece PC user.
How do your computers work?
Two days after, we will eat "fruit sunday".
Can you understand the meaning of "fruit sunday"?
We think it's very delicious dessert for us.
Of course, the main dish was "Anago-don"
(this is the famous Japanese traditional food !! You know ?).

Anyway, you have to only wait.

Your friend, Team ATComp.NET

THNX"

Well what do you say to that? I suggest treating them like a lemon after tequila...

Perhaps we should hire someone@dcypher.net to work for us

Well, there are some offensive messages
within our BBS, but my opinion as "Wintel
Œ™‚¢," meaning "Wintel-Contempter,"
is our unified one. I do hope you would
just take those offensive ones just as a
kind of humor to encourage our team
members...

It may seem awkward that I am using Intel
CPU, but Athlon system was too expensive for
myself to afford when it appeared.

PS:I must assert that "Nachis Toy-Box" is
our friend-team, but inclined more to AMD
CPU's!

Hi! I'm another member of ATComp.NET.

Mr.Cruelty had found the message of our GUY,
and had interpreted very keenly. But it was a mere internal joke not intended to be read by anyone outside of the BBS.

More, I must say that there are some other messages on our BBS: http://www.atcomp.net/bbs/arc/d/dcypher/4_85_ALL.html

Again, we don't have any intention of provoking you, TEAM 3DNow!!!. We ALL hope our TEAM will be a good competitor and a tough partner in the quest for the right KEY.

Ciao!@ATComp your status does not reflect your cpu type, it's part of our ranking system. You must post about ten more times before the celeron worshiper status is removed and replaced with, "Follower of Athlon."

Dear members of Team 3DNow!!!

When we joined DCypher.net, we never thought
of coming on top of you, since you seemed
so far ahead and so more powerful than we
are.

If it were not for your existence, we could
have never unite to exhibit our tremendous
potential.

Thank you very much for your fair greetings.
Now, we would love to integrate with you,
and, of course, with other teams as well,
toward the goal!

We enjoyed this competition very much and
again, want to express our gratitude to
all of you.

Sincerely,
Team ATComp.NET

It's nice to have a worthy adversary we can battle with, since Team Anandtech seems incapable of challenging us in the project. Maybe we should be nice hosts and let ATComp lead, but then again they are mere 600 blocks ahead...

ahead and there is longer way left to go.
You don't have to abide by and let us have
the glory. A tough competition welcomed!

Well, sorry for not posting in follow up the topic.

I guess that umm, well...
I had a good time at the Year Ten school formal.

I had a bit too much to drink afterwards...
Alcohol is not good for you.

And go, go, go ATcomp.net.
Perhaps it's time I got that P200 and K5-100 out of the cupboard. Good on you guys.

If you guys don't mind, I've thrown my P3 667 your way for a couple of days to help hold off the threat . However, with Team AnandTech losing most of the Magicman's output, I will have to switch back pretty soon to try and keep us in the top 5!

Ah, damnation, we've been ambushed, hehe.

I had taken down some machines over the weekend since I don't really want to find the CSC key (being part of the DCypher.Net management) and give others a better shot at it and now this!

Just fired the Athlon 650 and the K6-III back up to add some extra keyrate to the 3DNow! team. I also launched the SMP box again for one RC5 and one SETI client so nobody will feel neglected.

Well, I'm now about too (when I get the systems configured) bring my second system on line, or rather my main one has just been superceded, how's a P!!!-450 doing 88000kps and an AMD K6-2 450 doing 55000kps sound? (figures pre overclocking)

IF anyone here knows hows how to configure the proxy to run nicely, I may even add a third system, (synching more than 2 systmes manually is going to be a hassle and a half).

I've proposed an English section to our page,
but it is hard switching the BBS system we
are currently using. We know it should be
much fun to exchange information and ideas
mutually, for, we have a great interest in
common, about PC/AT compatibles... :-)
