Greetings. I've just installed the Gamma Flux Client, and have had it up and running since yesterday. I am on a dialup line, but it began processing blocks right away (?). I have now filled up my completed buffer, but nothing new is happening except it keeps processing blocks. When I dial into my ISP, I expected that it would send out the blocks and then get new ones. I've tried "fetching" and "flushing" but nothing seems to happen. Can someone fill me in here? What is "flushing" anyway? I can't seem to find it in the FAQ or other help screens here. Also, I seem to missing a file called "DCN_GUI.HLP" Any idea why it wasn't installed when I did my installation? By the way, I am running this on a spare PC which is Pentium-90, 100mhz, 46K ram running Win 95. Slow I know, but it's all I have available right now. Ok with gammaflux you dont fetch anything from the net, the client randomly generates the blocks that it is checking, therfore the todo buffer is totally irrelevant. When you have some units you want to send, go online and choose flush, this should get the units underway. Sometimes you may have to try flush several times, before anything happens.
