Hi Savine

Thats some great times 8hrs.

Here is a link to SETICache, http://www.techpimp.com/seticache /

This prog will cache 10 units and run thru them one by one. You can flush them at anytime. It is very easy to use and i don't know how i did without it for so long.

It runs the cmdline version which should gain you some even faster unit times than the graphical version.

If you have problems getting it just let us know and fredro or myself can email it to you.

My main question is which comandline version to use. The Seti sight lists a couple dozen versions for different systems.

This is the address to get the right version.
http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/unix.html

The one your looking for is
i386-winnt-cmdline.exe: version 2.0

There isn't one specified for W9X but this is the one that you would use for W98.

It runs in a dos box and just shows your progress percentage.
use CTRL + C to close it. It will automatically look for a connection to upload the finished unit and get a new one.

Well case in fact the Seticache download includes the Comandline progy. New problem. I installed the i386win and it it starts by press one for new user 2 for returning user. I put in my email and it says no user at that address. I tried my old login, same response. I tried opening a new login. Again, no User at that address. Well this is news to me. I have my stats window right here. Ok so now what?

BTW- why does it say wish I had an Athlon under my name? I do have an Athlon!

Ok everthing is working fine. Turns out the comand line client is quirky about case sensitive. Time on first WU with comand line client, 7 hrs 18 min. This is a hour better than the minimized graphic client, and I still have several tweaking options to explore. Hard to believe a month ago I was doing WU's at 34+ hours. BTW Fredo, my user name is... Savine
