I am crunching on a fleet of P2 350s and Pee3 500s. Yet I can't touch you. What on earth are you running?

I got a job recently as a PC Technician for a CAD Design Company, and have been building and rebuilding systems for them. Some of the systems are not being used right now, so I run SETI on them. This is definitely a nice perk

I would like to know something, I like ABIT because of thier Soft Menu and the great overclocking abilities when I get ready to build a new Athlon/duron/thunderbird sytem. Since EPoX already has a socket A motherboard, but they took the page off their website until June 15th, (the board's name is EPoX EP-8KZA/KT133) I would prefer to get an ABIT board for socket A, but if I got a EPoX board for socket A, I would like to know how well EPoX boards are made and work(stability, overclocking, ect).

The reference KX133 system here in my lab is an Epox, but I think I could recommend the ABit as well, especially if you consider tweaking the FSB.

Good lord man. No wonder your kicking my arse.

Right now I am running about 15 Pee3 500s 24/7, then another 10-15 during 8:00am - 8:00pm, and then some P2 350s 24/7 and during the 8-8pm bit.

Also at home I have:

2 AMD K6-III 450s
1 AMD K6-2 450
1 Pentium 90

But most of the Pee3/P2s are running an older version of SETI, once I upgrade them to something newer they should get a nice speed increase.

The heck with Seti I'm getting sick of my 133's at work. How do I get a job where they let me a: use an army of machines faster than snails and b: run personal programs on them. lol

Here's an update for you PK:

I'v added the following systems:
6 - Dell Latitude CPx's, with PIII 500's, 128MB PC100 RAM, and Win98 SE - 7Hr WU's
5 - Dell Latitude CPi A's, with PII 400's, 64MB PC66 RAM, and Win98 SE - 11Hr WU's

I also got my new laptop, and traded in my old one. I've now got a Dell Latitude CPx with the same configuration as the others, but it has twice the RAM, and is running Win2K Pro.

I'm only going to have these systems for a limited time, but I plan on running them for all they're worth.

I plan on adding a couple more PC's to this line up in the next couple of days, and the dual processor system is still in the works.
