The reason I ask is that recently(ever since getting my Duron)I've been experiencing a meteoric rise through the team rankings. Is there no one left to stop my ownage? ------------------ IP: Logged |

I concur...I'm saying about 50-75 users are consistent. I know I was moving up 3 spots a day sometimes until recently when I got to the hardcore crunchers. Now I move up two a week max. IP: Logged |

I find the only way to find out is to do week by week stats of members WU production. It's very telling of the status of your team. [This message has been edited by NiteOwl (edited September 16, 2000).] IP: Logged |

i counted 80 active members in the last 28hrs. there may be a few more who only turn in cached units a few times a week. we are doing pretty good overall. IP: Logged |

Unfortunately, my numbers haven't been that good lately. I ran out of hardware for a while, fell prey to the remodeling bug (changing my cube layout and hardware to increase the number of systems I can run at once), and have had some server problems. However, I should be at full operating capacity by weeks end, when the rest of my hardware gets here. I should then be able to run 24-26 desktops and 14-16 laptops. Should make for some decent output. IP: Logged |

Well, I'm now in the low 80's and should reach <80 by months end. Anyone gonna stop me? Or do you like my ownage? ------------------ IP: Logged |

Sandi, as of right now your 83rd and I'm 73rd. Run, run as fast as you can. Can't catch me, I'm the Savine-man. IP: Logged |

Sandi, What speed is your Duron? Seems to me you should be getting faster times than 11hrs per WU. IP: Logged |

Savine: My 650 is @750 right now. I'm using Windows GUI client 2.04. I'm curious about different versions and have considered using the CLI client, but so far haven't gotten around to trying them. BTW, you seem to be pulling away from me! I suppose I'll have to start taking this situation more seriously! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Well, I installed the GUI client version 3.0 and now my times are 7-8 hours. It'll be interesting to see if the CLI client is faster. IP: Logged |

All this talk and i'm still holding on to 77th place with my K6 III 400 @400 . My avg times are 12 to 13hrs per unit with cmdline client. I have been trying the SetK6 and it does not help SETI times on a K6 III, i have lost about 20 to 50min on my last 10 or so window units. It won't be long before i have a motherboard to put my shiny new unlocked Duron 600 in Man will that be nice, i can start my own little farm of champions. Keep on cooking everyone. John IP: Logged |

I'm back to talk some more smack! I'll be reaching the 60's in a few days, 50's in about a month! Are you guys going to put up with this? What's the deal? Do you like being owned? Savine: I've been keeping track of your progress. I think it'll take more than what I've got to catch up. Don't get lazy though, things could change! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Poor little Sandy, his Duron is so fast but can't rember what to do, so it gets beat by a slower Athlon in a month when I had the computer shut down for two weeks while on Vactation. My lord it's quiet in here, to quiet. I fully expect Colenel Mustard to hit someone over the head with the candlestick soon. Wake up people! We have work to do. IP: Logged |

Why hasn't the 3dnow team page been updated? I now have 725 WU's, but it still shows that I have 715. IP: Logged |

Woohoo! Welcome dude. Good timing too, we're sneaking up on Team Austria, I think. Need some kind of statistics like rate of change compared to neighbouring teams and what not. Don't cry for me San Savine! One day you'll have me nipping your heels. Then with shock you'll watch, helpless, as I speed past. ------------------ IP: Logged |
